This is a true story that happened in 1991.

White people PSA rap was everywhere just as I was entering elementary school. I was a super shy and obedient little kid, and simply being called on to answer in class made me practically shit myself. I had never been punished in my entire life. So one day the substitute music teacher instructed us to all introduce ourselves in the form of a short rap. I had no concept of what was "cool" or not, but I knew I did not want to do this thing. When the moment of truth came, I realized in horror that I must REFUSE, it was just too terrible. I heard my voice say "no." The teacher said I could either do it or I could go sit in the corner. I'm sure it was an empty threat, but I considered earnestly, got up, and walked over to the corner. I wasn't being insolent, I just saw it as the less humiliating of my two options. I don't remember what she did, the memory stops there. But I like to think that God got a boner that day.

Hehe, poor Pudding. I somehow remember all important information was transmitted via rap in the early 90s.

Imagine if you had to watch that whole tape in order to ever ride a bike. Hardest test ever.
